For several years now, David Jay and I have been submitting workshops to the National Gay and Lesbian Task Force’s annual organizers conference, Creating Change. Last year was the first year that our workshop was accepted, and we had an incredible experience at the conference.

This year we have two workshops; one is a panel and the other is a caucus. Our panel features SwankIvy, Tristan from Asexual Agenda, a GSA director from University of Arizona, and Rin, who is in the video. The conference isn’t cheap, and everyone has agreed to pay their own way there. We’re asking the community to fund the hotel rooms at the conference, as well as the brochures and pamphlets we’ll be passing out at the conference. Last year our 500 were gone before the first day was over! In addition, AVEN is fundraising for its server costs (which host AAW) and AAW is fundraising for admin costs.
